Belmont University Admissions Redesign
Belmont University rolls out a new admissions look every 3-4 years. The look is applied to all things geared towards perspective students including senior and junior viewbooks, admitted student packets, visit folders, handouts, postcards, and more. During our admissions redesign process, I created a vintage concept based on research showing that Gen Z, our target audience, has a love for nostalgia characterized by a deep longing for a simpler time.
This concept plays with design elements such as vintage effects on photos, large personable type, playful colors, patterns and textures, and lifestyle photography. The bright, modernized-vintage color palette brings a tastefully energetic feel to the pieces giving the vibe of a beloved sitcom.
